Bao Long Medicine Group is
a private enterprise with a parent-subsidiary type of relationship. The firm was
founded according to the Prime Minister’s Decision on the basis of merging Bao
Long Medicine Corporation and a number of related enterprises in and outside the
healthcare industry.
A legal entity, the
multi-business firm operates both in Vietnam and abroad and performs a wide
range of activities. These are:
Production and trade in
various kinds of oriental medicines and pharmaceutical materials.
Medical diagnosis, treatment
and rehabilitation to improve the resilience of patients by means of traditional
and modern medical practices.
Production of food,
nutritious and pep drinks processed from food combined with
pharmaceutical materials.
Production of herbal
cosmetics.
Research on stepping up
production of pharmaceuticals from tropical herbs.
Imports and exports of
pharmaceutical materials and traditional oriental medicines.
Imports of medical equipment
Printing of packaging, marks
and labels.
Training doctors of oriental
medicine in a bid to inherit and develop the traditional medicine industry of
Vietnam.
Since our founding more
than ten years ago, the firm has held a system of modern offices, polyclinics,
sport medical halls along with production lines and workshop facilities of
scale, occupying an area of more than 60,000 sq. meters in Son Tay Town, Ha Tay
Province. Also, the group has invested in building a rare medicine resource
region for domestic use and exports on an area of hundreds of square meters at
Sin Ho, Lai Chau Province. To promote sustainable investment in human factor,
the group has built up a contingent of over 600 virtuous highly qualified
staffs, including above 70 professors, doctors, physicians and pharmacists with
a post-graduate degree and more than 120 employees of high and secondary levels.
By introducing a Quality
Management System - Standard ISO 9001-2000, the group produces hundreds of kinds
of oriental medicines and herbal cosmetics with fine packaging, high quality and
best efficacy, thereby gaining popularity among Vietnamese and foreign
customers. Over the past years, our products have been awarded the
Golden Cup
for Safe Trademark for public health, the Super Cup for High-quality Vietnamese
Goods, the Golden Cup for Vietnam’s famous trademarks and especially the Quality
Prize by the Asia-Pacific Prize Council and the Vietnamese Quality Prize for
2005. The achievements made Bao Long Pharmaceutical one among Vietnam’s
best-known trademarks.
